Healthy Breaks Scheme
Healthy eating is encouraged through a ‘Healthy Breaks Scheme’ and children are encouraged to eat only fruit, yoghurt, vegetables or bread-based products. Children can also drink milk or water at break-time.
We are a Healthy School and care about the well-being of our pupils. Healthy eating is encouraged through a ‘Healthy Breaks Scheme’ in school.
For break, children are encouraged to eat only fruit, yoghurt, vegetables or bread- based products. Children can also drink milk or water at break-time.
Please note that children should only drink water in class throughout the day and water bottles are permitted in class and they can be re-filled by a member of staff. Juice is not permitted during learning time or in the classroom, however it can be taken at lunchtime as part of a packed lunch.
